Christmas at the Galleria

We look forward to this tradition every year- our Holiday festivities at the Galleria.  We arrived on Saturday morning with our first stop, of course... visiting Santa!  This picture cracks me up!  The boys were both very well behaved for 98% of the time while we waited, which was close to an hour!  We never wait this long, but this year we arrived later than normal, so the line was a little longer.  But the main difference this year was how slow the line was.  We toughed it out though.  If we would have seen Santa 5 minutes earlier Luke would have been completely different, but by this point he was already crying in line and had enough of this waiting for Santa business.  Hudson, on the other hand, was SO EXCITED to see Santa!  He talked his ear off, telling him all of his Christmas wishes and that he's been a good boy this year.  I was so glad to see that Hudson was not timid with Santa because I'm hoping that he'll warm up to him quickly at our Breakfast with Santa next weekend.  I think Luke will have a different view of Santa next weekend as well... As long as he doesn't have to wait an hour in line, we should be good!

We grabbed Luke away for the second picture because he wanted nothing to do with Santa.  Hudson had a blast though!

After visiting Santa, we stopped by Nordstrom for a quick bite for lunch before grabbing our spot at Slappy's Holiday Circus.  We watched this for the first time last year and were really impressed.  The kids enjoy all of the circus acts, including the jugglers, contortionist and hula hooper, among others.

The boys waiting for the show to begin

After the circus, we walked around the mall, did some shopping and decided to come home. We intended to wait to watch Santa on Ice, but it had already been a long day.  Even though Luke napped for a little while in the stroller, the boys were tired, so we called it a day with plans to go back this weekend to watch Santa on Ice!
