Visiting Santa

Yesterday, we had a blast on our 4th annual family Christmas Galleria trip! Hudson visited Santa and wasn't sure what to think of him. He didn't cry at all but just stared at him intently while sitting on his lap. We arrived soon after they opened in the morning; therefore, there was no line yet. Since nobody was waiting, Santa spent some extra time talking and playing with Hudson. Santa talked to Hudson about Thomas the Train and what other things he wanted for Christmas.

Afterwards, Hudson was all smiles and squeals walking around the mall. Before it got too crowded, we took him out of his stroller to let him walk around on his own, and he had SO MUCH fun doing that! He thought he was the coolest thing!

We all bought each other one gift while we were there: Hudson got a stuffed elephant (Peanut), Matthew got some cologne, and I got a necklace from Brighton. Surprisingly, Hudson took a nap while we were shopping around, and he looked so cute sleeping in his stroller holding his new elephant, Peanut.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas festivities and are already talking about how much fun it will be again next year with another addition to the family!

Santa was successful in getting a brief smile when he tickled Hudson (though we didn't catch it on camera).

All rested after my nap and ready to run around again!
