This morning while we were getting ready to go to a swim party, Matthew was changing Hudson into his swimsuit. He asked me if he should put on his swim diaper. I told him to wait, and I'll put it on him when we arrive. Well, for some reason still unknown to me, Matthew took this as to not put any diaper on Hudson! In the meantime, we were still getting things ready to go, and I kept seeing Hudson "holding his tee-tee", and I thought he was telling me that he needed to go potty, so I would ask... "Do you need to go potty", and he'd say "No", so I thought nothing of it. A few minutes later, I found a puddle on the kitchen floor and immediately suspected Misha as the culprit. Therefore, Matthew scolded/spanked her and put her in her kennel. Then as we were walking out the door, I noticed two wet drops in Luke's room, still assuming Misha as the suspect. She was already in her kennel and in trouble, so we just cleaned it and headed out the door. Hudson slept most of the way there since this was during his normal nap time. When we arrived, I started unbuckling him and realized that he was all wet, so I felt for his diaper and NOTHING! Hudson was wearing his swimsuit only. Frustrated, I explained to Matthew that no swim diaper doesn't mean no diaper AT ALL, and under no circumstances should Hudson go without a diaper (until he's potty trained, of course)! Although I was obviously irritated at the time, it quickly turned into a funny story at the party.
We also had to apologize to poor Misha for getting all the blame!
