Happy 5 Months!

Luke is 5 months old today! What we will remember about Lucas at 5 months:

• He can now recognize his name when you call for him.


• Our little oinker thouroughly enjoys eating his baby food! In fact, he would fuss for more after feeding him a whole jar mixed with rice cereal at dinner, so now I also feed him a jar at lunch. So far, he's tried sweet potatoes, carrots and apples and has liked them all. Now that he's been eating food, he has begun to get those adorbale chubby legs... I LOVE THEM!


• He's still wearing 3-6 month clothing; although he can fit into some 6-9 months too.


• He is sleepy and ready for bed around 7:30 to 8:00 now, and he sleeps around 11-13 hours a night.
  


• He takes two naps a day: A 30 minute to hour nap in the morning and a longer nap (closer to 2-3 hours) in the afternoon


• Luke prefers to sleep on his side.


• Luke can sit up on his own for a few seconds.


• He still enjoys standing and can bear weight for several minutes on his legs.


• Luke loves to laugh, especially at Huds being silly.


• He's constantly moving, and he loves to kicks his legs.


• Luke loves to look around... He doesn't want to miss anything!


• He's noticing Misha much more now and enjoying watching her run around.


• His hair is quickly growing back in where he recently lost it.
  


• Still no teeth, but he's drooling like crazy and chewing on everything (mostly his hands); everything goes straight to his mouth.
