Luke is 11 months old today... WOW! He's acting so grown up lately... my baby is getting older! I am began planning the big 1 year birthday bash for next month for our little one. Can't wait!
Here's what Luke is up to at 11 months old:
- He is now wearing some 12-18 month clothing, along with the 6-12 month as well. He wears size 3 diapers and size 2 shoe.
- New words: nana (banana), car, ball, Opa, bye-bye, nigh-night, Mama, Dada, Bubba, juice, doggie, and he can say "got it" (I know random, huh! He repeated me after saying it once, and now it's part of his vocabulary). Another word he just begun saying.... "NO". He's not saying it to me in defiance (yet) but rather repeating me when I tell him not to touch something.
- Luke loves bananas! He will recognize one from across the room and beg for it by saying "nana".
- Ball is his favorite word. He also enjoys throwing balls.
- He can sign "more" and "milk".
- He will cruise around furniture and will walk from one thing to another letting go.
- He can stand for a few seconds, but will voluntarily sit down after any length of time.
- Luke cut his third tooth today. His top left.
- Luke continues to be a great eater, and he inhales his food immediately when it's offered.. The only thing he doesn't like so far are grapes. I think it's more the texture than anything because he just spits them right out.
- He is a little wiggle worm, always moving. He will often wiggle out of high chairs when we are at a restaurant, pulling one leg out and over the chair. Keeps Mommy on her toes!
This chair shot lasted all of two seconds before he was standing up. He thought it was funny because he knew he was messing with me!
