A fun birthday gift arrived yesterday from our friends in California, Leah and Lane! As soon as Hudson opened the package, he began cooking us dinner. He has always enjoyed helping Mommy cook, and one of his favorite things to do lately is pretend cooking full meals for our family. He will often make up a picnic on our living room floor where we all enjoy his delicious food, which almost always consists of fruit salad (thanks to The Wiggles). Now he is official with his new apron and chef hat! He also loves playing with Kelsey's kitchen, so we'll see if he asks Santa for a new kitchen this year!
For our "first" dinner last night, Hudson made us eggs and fruit salad. Hudson, Luke and I sat at the table where Hudson insisted we say our prayers first, and then we enjoyed our [pretend] eggs and fruit salad.
