Hudson was very excited about his open house last night. They have been preparing for this big night!
The evening started with an adorable program from each grade of students. This is absolutely precious! He rocked it up there, especially the arm movements! His group sang:
- God's Been Good To Me (with a yee-haw at the end)
- I'm Really Happy
- I Love Jesus, Yes I do, I Love Jesus, How About You? (They rocked out to this one with some cute dance moves!)
After the program, we went back to the classroom for open house when the teacher had everything set up to display all kinds of art the kids have done over the year. Wow, did they get creative! The classroom was filled with all different sections of fun art, including Hudson's name! Ms. Maureen specifically pulled me over to show me Hudson's name. She said that her and Ms. Shelly were so proud of him and were cheering him on as he wrote it. I laughed because I could totally picture them doing this in the classroom this week. What can I say?... My boy is a stud! (I have some Mommy bragging rights!) All of this fun art will be coming home after spring break. We will be completely updating our masterpieces wall with these creations!
Goofing around with his buddy, Preston
Preston was being silly trying to distract Hudson, and I think Hudson is attempting to not laugh at him in this picture.
