Well, today is the first day of my final year in my 20's. It turned out to be a wonderful day. Although, it started out a little rough... Last night, Hudson came down with a nasty bug. This was a weird virus that only caused continous vomiting... no fever or any other symptoms. The poor little guy was worn out at the end of the evening from being so sick. His arms and legs were limp as a rag doll, and he was ready to sleep it off. This bug was also a quick one. It came on around 6:00 last night, and, after two hours of him throwing up, we put him down to go to sleep. He slept the whole night, waking up around 7:30 feeling ok...just weak from an empty belly. I started him slowly back on liquids, and once I realized he was able to keep them down (around 9:00), I took him over to Erica's. She said he was happy and normal the rest of the day. Hudson is gradually getting his appetite back. Besides drinking his milk and Pedialyte, he hasn't eaten much today, except bananas (of course, one of his favorites!).
I am excited for tonight because we are going to pick out my gift that I have been anxiously waiting for.... my NEW CAMERA! I can't wait!! I will post pictures of the one we pick out. Matthew came home with some beautiful pink roses, a card from him and a card from Hudson. I think I can get used to getting flowers from my hubby - Matthew gave me a dozen gorgeous red roses a couple weeks ago too, which I have enjoyed looking at everyday. Also, Matthew mentioned that he is planning on taking Friday off to spend the day with me and Hudson to celebrate my birthday - FUN! I am a lucky gal!
My friends at work also made me feel extra special today. My group took me out to lunch at Mi Cocina (Yummy!). We also shared a delicious birthday cake, and they gave me a nice card.
It was a fun day!!
