Handy Matty

Well, it's about time we get Luke's room all set up! The bedding should be here within the next couple weeks, and the furniture is in...which means it is time for Matthew to get paintin'! Matthew doesn't normally enjoy doing handy work around the house, but I have to admit that not only was he a good sport about wanting to do this for Luke and Mommy, he seemed to have fun doing it. It looks very pretty! Matthew took Hudson to Home Depot with him to get the paint and supplies. This gave Hudson some guy time, since he is usually shopping with Mommy and the girls. Also, this enabled Hudson to play a part in preparing for baby brother's arrival. My Dad came over and painted with Matthew, which helped make the job go quicker. It actually didn't take them very long because the walls were all that needed painting. We kept the clouds painted on the ceiling, which were here when we moved in. They will look neat in the nursery, and Luke can stare up at them!

The room is now completely painted, and we'll have the furniture set up next weekend. Then it's time for Mommy to decorate and organize all the clothes! I'll post pics of the finished nursery... if we ever get there! At this point, we are just hoping to get it complete before Luke arrives!
