Luke's Birthday

Luke's birthday has been scheduled, unless he decides to chose it himself beforehand and come on his own, which, at this point, wouldn't bother Mommy at all! It will be April 29th at 7:15 AM. At that time, the Arnold family will be blessed with a new little bundle of joy.

Dr. Williams informed me today that I am anemic, which explains the reason I've been unbelievably tired lately. I've been feeling exhausted all the time, and my body has no energy, so I'm glad to find out that I can take some iron supplements to help with that. Of course, being 32 weeks pregnant with a toddler will make you exhausted to begin with, so I am just expecting to feel this way throughout the rest of my pregnancy (plus a few months with a newborn).

Other than that, she said that everything looks perfect. Luke's heart rate is strong, and he's measuring right as he should. I have gained a total of 22 pounds, and I feel like my belly is enormous!

The urgency to race my bladder while running to the restroom has become quite the norm now! Lately, I think Luke has been situated such that I have to plan out all of my glasses of water to make sure I can be close to a restroom, when needed. For example, when I'm about to drive home from my office (which usually takes around 20-30 minutes), I make sure to not have any liquids beforehand! So far, I haven't had any of those "accidents" that I've heard pregnant women complain of when their baby kicks their bladder, but I definitely see how it can happen! I don't remember the urgent restroom trips being this bad with Hudson.

Lately, I've also had a few hot flashes that are accompanied with a little dizziness. I just try to take it easy when this happens. I've felt weak and nauseaous like I did with morning sickness a couple times this past week also. I think this also might have to do with being anemic. Shortness of breath is something I've been dealing with every day, and I remember this with Hudson also. I can't wait until Lucas drops to give my diaphram some room, which should help with this problem.

A little over 7 weeks to go!!
