We joined our friends, The Baxters, yesterday at the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm. We had a great time! We fed the goats, road the hayride, picked out two pumpkins- one for Hudson and one for Lucas, then we enjoyed hotdogs.
Hudson's favorite part by far was feeding the goats. That morning before leaving, I was telling Hudson that we were going to see goats, cows and some other animals. On our drive there, Hudson was talking about the goats and cows, but what he wanted to see the most was a deer! He kept asking me if we were going to see a deer, and I told him I didn't think any deer would be there... that would have been awesome if they did have one for him though! When we first arrived the goats didn't seem hungry, so they didn't come up to the fence. However, after the hayride, Hudson wanted to go back to feed them again, and this time we were successful. He loved this!! He let the goat eat out of his cup and then dumped the rest of it on the ground for him.
We enjoyed our time at the pumpkin patch, and we decided that this will be added to our list of annual traditions each year to pick out our fall pumpkins.
