Luke is 6 MONTHS OLD... already!!Here's what Luke is doing at 6 months old:
- He's wearing 6-9 month clothes.
- He's eating two meals a day, along with his milk: fruit with oatmeal for lunch and veggies with rice cereal for dinner. He's on Stage 2 foods. He was really only on stage one for about a day... it just wasn't enough for him.
- He's not a fan of green beans or peas, but he will usually eat peas ok. Green beans need to be mixed with something or he'll gag... poor guy! Everything else he loves!
- Still taking two naps a day...Short one in the morning and longer one in the afternoon.
- He can sit up well now. Still falls back every once in a while, but he's getting the hang of it.
- He enjoys rolling around on the ground and is realizing he can get around this way.
- He tries to pull himself forward with his arms. He's not strong enough to pull himself very much, but it's obvious he wants to go somewhere. He has also tried to put his legs underneath him like he wants to crawl, but of course, he's not strong enough for that yet either.
- Luke enjoys listening to himself talk. He like to make sounds and coo. He especially like to squeal when he's happy. He's putting sounds together, and I've heard him say 'mamama' a couple times now.
- He's starting to reach out his arms to be picked up... precious!
- He's a happy baby who enjoys to laugh and play with his big brother!
- Mommy calls him Bubbie. Hudson is Bubba, so Bubbie just seemed to fit!
- He recently started to get a little separation anxiety with Mommy. He can be completely content playing with a toy, but if he sees Mommy walk by him he wants me to pick him up.
