Happy Halloween!

Our family had a fun Halloween this year!  Since we've never actually gone trick-or-treating in our own neighborhood, we decided to stick close to home this year and go with just our family.  Hudson chose to be spiderman this year, and Luke wore Hudson old lion costume.  Since Luke was going to be a lion, I had originally made plans for our family to be the characters from the Wizard of Oz this year.  I was going to be Dorothy, Hudson the Tin Man, Matthew the Scarecrow, Luke the Cowardly Lion and, of course, Misha as Toto.  But since we decided to keep Halloween low key this year without getting together with anyone else, we just let Hudson pick out what he wanted to wear instead of going with a theme.

Of course, Hudson jumped right in knowing exactly what to do this year, but Luke was a little skeptical for the first few houses.  He didn't want to get out of the wagon, but when he saw brother getting candy he quickly changed his mind.

Funniest event of the evening:  At the first house Luke walked up to, the guy opened the door and Luke walked right inside!!  I was a few feet back and didn't anticipate this because  I figured he'd stay at the door with Hudson.  He was making himself right at home.  Of course, he didn't get far inside before I scooped him up, but made for a good laugh with the family inside the house too seeing this cute little lion walk right in!

All ready to go trick-or-treating
This is when Luke started walking into the first house (before I snatched him up!)
 Yay for candy!
Picture with random Mickey Mouse cutie at one of the houses! He jumped in the picture, which made for a cute candid shot!

This picture cracks me up! Hudson teasing his little brother!
 Halloween Snuggles!
Checking out their candy stash!
It's kinda hard to see but there is a big smile behind that lollipop!
Can I eat this one, Mommy?
Luke sorted through and found every single lollipop in his stash!
Yay for a fun Halloween!
