We decided to send Hud over to my parents for the afternoon yesterday, so Matthew and I could potty train Luke. We used the same method as we did for Hudson, since it worked so well the first time. I am so proud of Luke! He has done immpeccable!!! It was like he already knew what he was supposed to do... I think it helps having a big brother to watch! I didn't work with him at all up until yesterday, not even just sitting him on the toilet. With this method, it's best to not have tried to train previously.
We started training him at 1:00, just after lunch when he had a full belly and plenty of fluids. He was completely and independently trained before 4:00... that's less than 3 HOURS! He has not had any accidents yet other than in bed last night! He has peed and pooed in the potty all day today! I plan to hold back liquids and food a little earlier tonight to hopefully help with nighttime.
Did I mention how cute he looks in undies?!
This momma has no more diapers! (for now) ;)
