Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic

The Carlson's invited us to join them today for an Easter egg hunt followed by a picnic at a park in Southlake.  It was through their church.  The kids had a blast, and the weather was amazing today!  When we arrived the kids played on the playground, and some of them had their faces painted.  My boys wanted nothing to do with that!  Boys will be boys!  They just wanted to run around on the playground.  After play time, it was time to hunt some eggs.  The kids enjoyed collecting eggs and opening them afterwards.  Then we enjoyed our picnic and watch the kids play football with Bryan.  It was a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors!

Our group when we arrived at the park
Hudson was proud of his Easter basket!  He loves things with his name on them, which is good because so does Mommy!
They kids are playing with Bryan in these next few pictures.  They were each making a funny face at him an then he'd tickle them before they'd try to run away.
Then they played with wearing their baskets as hats.
Waiting for the hunt to begin...
Look at all of those eggs (and these were only for age group 2-3)!
When they said go, Luke was off like a rocket to get those eggs!
 Checking out their goodies
When Hud turned his head, Luke decided to check out what he could find in his brother's basket.
After our picnic, the kids played football and ran around.
This is pretty much all I can get for any picture of this little busy body!
