The Arnolds will be moving into a new home at the end of the month!
We found this house last week and signed a contract on Monday. We are set to close on April 25th and will be moving that weekend. This happens to be the same weekend as our little Lukester's birthday. So we plan to move on Sunday. It's definitely an understatement to say we've been extrememly busy these past couple weeks and will continue to be the until probably the end of May. Between packing/moving, soccer games and Luke's party, our weekends our jam-packed (not including spring pictures we have scheduled in two weeks).
We have looked for a while for the perfect home and are excited that we found it! It sits on a 1+ acre lot with a swimming pool and a ginormous oak tree in the back yard complete with a fort and rope swing. We also have plans to add an in-ground trampoline and a swing set in the near future. One of my favorite places in the house is the front porch! The front yard is shaded by several huge oak trees making it a little piece of paradise out there. A few days ago, we were sitting on that front porch discussing the contracts while watching the boys play, and the shade kept it cool and comfortable during the heat of that afternoon. It was wonderful! This place has more than enough room for the boys to play! Each time we drive around the neighboorhood you can find kids of all ages playing, riding bikes, or driving go-karts. It love the safe neighborhood feel with this gated community. We've been told that it's a close-knit community and that Halloween is awesome out here! It's going to be a perfect place for two boys (and possibly another sibling) to roam and play.
It's only about 5 minutes from where we live now, so I like that we'll still have the convenience of shopping at all our favorite places.
We feel lucky to have found this place and caught it just in time! We put an offer on it the first day it was on the market and still ended up competing against another offer. We are also told that there are back-up offers in case we back out of our contract. Those people shouldn't hold their breath!

Congrats Kara!! How exciting for you guys!!
