I have to say that as excited as we were to start soccer last year, we are even more excited to start baseball in a few weeks! We made a trip to Academy Sports today to get Hudson a new baseball glove, a new tee, a bucket of t-balls, and a brand new bat. He is super excited about all of his new gear! He has been playing with and organizing all of it ever since we got home. Matthew and I are just as excited. We think baseball is going to be one of our favorite sports for the boys to play (along with golf). Matthew and I both got new gloves ourselves. We have lots and lots of catch to look forward to! In fact, playing catch has been one of Luke's favorite games to play. And he got himself a brand new glove with the rest of us! This evening, Matthew and I were playing catch in the house... This would normally be breaking a rule. But when all of our breakables are packed up to move, we can make an exception! I didn't remember how much fun playing catch is! I haven't put a glove on in years, but it brought me back to when I was a little girl and absolutely loved to play catch with my dad all the time! Our new yard will be perfect to practice baseball... I can't wait!
When Hudson went to bed tonight, he asked for one thing to hold- his new glove and ball! I just checked on him, and this is exactly what I found. How cute is this?!
Of course, Tigger takes precedence, but that new glove is right there with Luke too!
