Another fun soccer season came to an end yesterday, and we celebrated with another team party! We had planned to have the party at Bear Creek Park, but we changed it that morning to McDonalds due to the weather. The game wasn't rained out because it was at 8:30, but it started to drizzle during the game, so we thought it would be best to move the party inside. Mickey D's was perfect! The kids had a fantastic time and everyone seems comfortable. Jill and I were team mom's again this year, and we always have fun preparing the parties! On Friday night, we went to Jill's house to decorate cupcakes and fill the goodie buckets. We have one new player on the team this year, and that mom was surprised on our fun team dynamic. Her team from last season didn't even have a team party. Jill and I were talking about how we feel so blessed to have such an awesome team with fantastic families! We know of many people who've had bad experiences with their coaches and other player's families, so we are lucky! We all plan to stick together as long as possible... Even for baseball, which begins in just a few weeks!
We served breakfast foods- muffins, bagels and filled croissants.
The trophies, goodie bags and Gatorade filled sports bottles for the players
I found this cupcake idea on Pinterest and thought it was perfect for their party!
