Our Arrival on Brook Green Lane

We began our move on Friday evening.  This was a super fun night for Matthew and I.  The painters had finished up with the house (with the exception of the kitchen cabinets and some door frame paint), so we started moving some boxes in.  We even took some time to sit out front and enjoy our view.  This was the first time I thought to bring my camera to the house, so I took some pictures before we moved in.  We had moved a few boxes, but that was it.  I will post some more before/after pictures after we complete some of our projects!

The elevation - The only thing we've changed is we painted the front door black.
Goofing around on our new riding lawn mower! We negotiated this in our contract, so we got the previous homeowners riding mower.

Hud's room - That red stripe was orange, but I painted it red that day to make this a perfect baseball room!

The boys' bathroom... I'm thinking nautical theme.
Dining Room
Master Bedroom
Master Bath - This is our next project.  In a few months, we plan to change out all of the tile and redo the shower and bath.  We will also paint the cabinets and add granite.  I plan to finish it out with a pretty chandelier over the bathtub!

Master Closet
Breakfast Nook
Family Room

This is another bedroom.  It was previously HOT pink, and I chose to paint it grey.  I love how the color turned out.  This is the playroom, and this grey compliments all of the color in here!
Third Bath - I am thinking about butcher papering this one.  Jessica and I will do this together!

Luke's room - I haven't picked out bedding for him yet, so we just put him in a toddler bed and haven't painted it until I find something.
The stairs leading to the gameroom
I love my laundry room! I chose this color and am so happy with the way it turned out.  I plan to add a burlap valance or curtain with a flower pinback.  I already put a lamp in here.  I'm going for a cute and shabby laundry room that will make doing laundry more fun!

The ginormous tree in our backyard!
The Texas shaped pool - Renovations should begin this month on this!
The other side of our backyard
We absolutely love our lot! We always have bunnies running around.  In fact, Matthew mowed the lawn for the first time today and said that he had to watch out for them all over the backyard.  How cool is that! We love our little furry guests!
