Mommy's Day

Just like Matthew's birthday, we didn't do too much for Mother's Day this year.  In fact, we spent most of the morning at Lowes buying things for the house including a new rug for our study, a new garage door opener and fertilizer.  Fun, huh!  It is when it's for a new house!  So for lunch, we just grabbed a hot dog at Lowes!  Not the typical Mother's Day lunch, but it was special, nonetheless!  After making a quick trip to Walmart so I could pick up some more liner for the kitchen cabinets, we headed back home for the rest of the afternoon.  I played t-ball with the boys out front and enjoyed this amazing weather we've had today!  For dinner, Matthew picked up Buffalo Wild Wings to go, and we ate on our front porch as a family during sunset. It was paradise!  It was a low key and perfect Mother's Day!

The boys gave me the necklace I've been wanting!  I LOVE it! Each monogrammed pendant is individially hand cast and is completely sterling silver.  The middle larger pendant is a "k" and the two smaller ones are "h" and "l".  It's beautiful!  And it's the perfect length to wear with anything.

Hudson came home with all kinds of fun goodies for me from that he made at school!  Here are the boys holding them.
He made me a purple mug

 Some flowers

And an adorable "About Mommy" card
The fourth one is definitely not true!  The fifth one cracks me up... Him and his shoes!  And the last one melts my heart!  I love that boy! I am so glad he's MINE! My little Huddlebug!
