Go Pirates!

Today was Hudson's last game of the season, but he chose to play t-ball instead of soccer in the fall, so we'll be back on the diamond in September! Although we enjoy the spirit and fun of t-ball, we were glad the summer season was over because the last two games were getting pretty HOT!  Hudson is doing so well and can really hit the ball!  He's even getting faster running those bases!  Coach Eric, who is a friend of ours and has visited our new place, jokes that it's because Hudson has been getting running practice by chasing those bunnies all around our yard.

We had our end of season party at the splash park, which felt fitting given the heat!  The kids really enjoyed running around in the water.  We gave them water guns and even had a water balloon fight!  Unfortunately, Hudson was not able to make it... but he didn't mind because he was at the Wiggles!!  Mimi and Papa got tickets to take Hudson and Mia to see the Wiggles.  This was before we got the schedule and found out it was the last game and team party that same day.  So we gave Hudson the choice if he wanted to go to the Wiggles or to his team party.  I wasn't too surprised when he chose the Wiggles!

Hudson missed the party, but it didn't seem to phase him at all!  He had a blast at the Wiggles!

Here are some pictures we took throughout the season...

Of course, Luke had to wear some too!

I love these next two!  Daddy was always first base coach, and each time Hudson would get to first he'd jump into his Daddy's arms and give him a big hug!
