Jasper

Santa sent someone special to Hudson and Luke this year.  His name is Jasper, and he is one of Santa's helpers.  He is a silly little elf.  He appeared on our doorstep this morning with a book of instructions.  After we read the book, he mysteriously disappeared out of my hand and onto the shelf, where he remained the rest of the day keeping an eye on the family.  Each night while we are all asleep, he will fly to Santa reporting on how Hudson and Luke have been.  Have they been good, have they been bad, have they been happy or sad?  Before we awake, he'll be back at our home; however this time he will choose a different spot for the day.  Hudson and Luke will wake up each morning to search for their teeny-tiny friend.  However, there is one rule: Jasper cannot be touched in order to preserve his magic.  We can talk to him from afar, even though he's been instructed by Santa not to speak back to us.  On Christmas Eve, his job will end, and he'll be spending the rest of the year with Santa.  However, next year during the holidays he's promised to be back as our special little friend.
