Today was Hudson and Luke's lucky day... They saw Santa 4 times! We our day at the Galleria where we visited Santa. Hudson and Luke sat on his lap, and Hudson told him what he wanted for Christmas- Trucks, Cars and a tent. Luke just laughed the whole time! We saw Santa again later in the day while walking through the Galleria. After eating lunch, we enjoyed Slappy's Holiday Circus, complete with puppets, magic, clowns, jugglers, contortionists and... Santa! This was lots of fun! Huson sat with the other kids, watching and clapping along with the fun music. We go to the Galleria every year for Christmas, and this is the first time they've had this show. We hope they do it every year because it was lots of fun! After the Galleria, we ventured back to the Frisco Square where we were last weekend. This time, we were going to watch Santa parachute out of the sky, along with a balloon glow of 10 hot air balloons. Our friends, the Sawyers, joined us for the festivities. However, this event was canceled due to high winds this evening. Therefore, we let Hudson run around with his friends, Jax and Josh, for a little while before heading to the nearby mall, Stonebriar, for some dinner and play time. This is where Hudson saw Santa for the fourth time today. At this point, Hudson waved to him like they were old pals. We completed our evening with some cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, which we brought home for a snack. After his bath tonight, Hudson pointed at one of our decorative Santas in the house, saying "more Santa". Santa is everywhere!
Matthew and I always look forward to this day all year, and it's always a blast!!
