Pumas and Pumas and Bears... Oh My!

On New Year's Eve, us girls spent the day shopping in Canton, while the guys took the kids to the Fort Worth Zoo.  We had lots of fun shopping just us girls.  Stephanie, Jennifer and I were roommates in college, and Stephanie was my roommate in the dorm.  On our drive home, we had so much fun reminiscing and swapping stories from the old days!

The guys and kids also had lots of fun at the zoo.  Matthew said that Hudson would call all the lions, panthers, cheetahs (basically all cats) a puma.  Matthew would correct him, but Hudson continued calling them pumas.  Well, I looked it up that evening, and sure enough he was right.  It's a large cat!  I have never heard of this before, but I'm pretty sure he had to of learned that from Diego.  Diego teaches Hudson about all kinds of exotic animals.  What I asked Hudson what his favorite animals he saw were, he said the lions and the pumas!

That night, the group went out to dinner without the kids.  Unfortunately, we were unable to join them.  After putting the boys to bed that night, Matthew and I stayed up relaxing on the couch and watching movies.  We barely made it to midnight and went straight to bed after taking in the new year.
