Two Points

Hudson has become extremely interested in basketball lately.  Papa and Mimi gave him a basketball hoop for his birthday, so every night he wants to play what he calls "Two Points".  He got this name from when Matthew would say two points each time Hudson made a basket, and actually, Hudson is getting to be a regular Larry Bird with his basketball shot!  This evening, we went to watch some "two points".  Papa is the game announcer in a Lions Club high school basketball tournament each year, so tonight we went to watch him announce one of his games.  Hudson thought this was SO COOL!  We sat on the first row on the floor just behind the goal, which was very close (making Mommy nervous at times with Hudson standing so close to those big, running basketball dudes!).  Richland High School played a team from Austrailia, and both teams played well (Richland won).  Hudson didn't have a favorite team... He would clap for both teams when they'd score, shouting "Yay, Two Points!"  Luke also clapped for the teams some during the game.  It was very neat when, just before half time, Papa annouced Hudson and Luke as the "future basketball players".  We had a great time, and the boys will enjoy going each year to watch their Papa announce for "Two Points".
