Four Steps

Luke took four steps on his own today!  For the past couple weeks he's been walking between objects taking a few steps at a time.  But last night was the first time he started walking out into an open room on his own with nothing to grab onto a couple steps away.  Last night when he saw me walk in the door  from grocery shopping, he started walking toward me.  He was holding onto the door frame of his bedroom and just started taking steps although I was several yards away.  This was about three steps.  This morning, he did this again toward his milk that was across the room.  About three steps again.  Just now, he tried again.  This time toward Hudson across the room, and he took four steps.  I can tell that he really wants to start walking and is trying to do this instead of crawl.  Matthew and I haven't practiced with him much, but I think if we do he'd be walking in no time.  Don't get me wrong, we aren't in any rush though.  I know what comes next with a walker!  Chasing little feet around the house!  He is going to be so cute when he starts toddling around!
