Potty Trained!

Yesterday was dedicated to potty training Hudson.  Mimi and Papa took Luke for the day, while Matthew and I hosted potty training boot camp for our little Hudson.  He is doing AWESOME! We used the "Potty Training in Less than a Day" method, and he hasn't had an accident since yesterday at 2:00 in the afternoon.  He is completely independent with his potty process. When he feels the urge he: walks to the potty on his own (without being asked), lowers his pants, goes potty and then raises his pants all by himself.  He does this without any cue or help from Mommy or Daddy- what a big boy!  A few times, we didn't even know he'd gone potty until he told us because we were in a separate room.  Also, he has done BOTH in the potty already!  I've heard that poo-poo takes a few more days, so I was amazed that Hudson did that in the potty last night as well.  For bed, we put him in regular undies- NO ACCIDENT!  He woke up this morning and went tee-tee in the potty instead.  I am so proud of my Hudson!  Of course, I anticipate having a few accidents here and there over the next week, since that is to be expected of any busy toddler. But Hudson is now independently potty trained!

Hudson first potty trained his doll, Scotty.
Hudson drank lots of fluids to create more practicing opportunities
Hudson chose Diego undies to wear first - he has Mickey, Cars and Diego
He was very excited to potty train!
