Golf & Swimming

Today was the 4th Annual Clay Paul Insurance Golf Tournament.  Matthew and Justin have hosted this tournament for the past four years for their top customers, prospects and friends.  Every year has been a success and today was no exception.  I can't imagine how hot it was out there, but Matthew said that everything turned out great.  Luckily, they teed off at 8:00 in the morning, so it wasn't too terribly hot until the end of the tournament.  Matthew said there was a little breeze cooling it off somewhat.  After the round, the players gathered for lunch in the clubhouse and for the awards ceremony.  I asked Matthew to take pictures, but I guess they were having too much fun to stop for that because he didn't come home with any.

I joined Sarah and her boys at my cousin (her sister), Sharon's, house to swim.  Sharon's hubby was on the golf course with mine and Sarah's was working.  So it was just us girls and our kiddos.  It was actually not too hot this morning.  We were in the water most of the time, but when Sarah and I were sitting on the patio visiting there was somewhat of a breeze, which made the heat bearable in the shade.  Luke enjoyed floating around in his car the entire time.  Other than during the snack (which Luke never misses out on), you could find him floating around in that car.  He was completely content just watching the activity.  In fact, it looked as if he was going to fall asleep just before we left.  We played for a couple hours, and the boys had a fantastic time as always!  We love Sharon's pool!
