We converted Hudson's crib into the toddler bed (his "big boy bed") last night. Hudson picked out his bedding a couple months ago... Cars! My plan is that once we move we will transform his bed into the full size, and I will redecorate his room theme- I'm thinking either airplanes or baseball. But for now, this is perfect. He loves his new arrangement and his Cars bedding! I waited to post this until today, so I could report on how it went the first night. I'm proud to say that he adapted perfectly! I heard some little tapping noises a few minutes after I tucked him in, and he was at his door peeking through. However, after I tucked him in a second time explaining that it was bedtime, he fell fast asleep. I anticipated waking up to the sound of pitter-pattering little feet from a visitor bright and early this morning (like 5:00), but he stayed in his bed until 7:30 when he heard Mimi and Papa arrive. What a big boy!
