Happy 15 Months!

  • Luke still wears a mixture of 6-12 month & 12-18 month clothing.  He wears size 5 shoe and size 3 diaper.
  • He has 9 teeth.
  • New words: clock, Luke "gook", milk, color (I know there's others that I'm forgetting)
  • Luke has also said a few two word phrases such as "apple juice".
  • Luke says "this" when he points at something, and says "get" when he wants something.
  • He can say many animal sounds such as ruff, roar, moo, meow.
  • He is often repeating words and imitating actions we do.
  • Luke will follow basic commands such as:  "Go put that away", "Shut the drawer" or "Go get in your chair for lunch".
  • My active little boy has become much more of a cuddler.  I'm loving this!  He will sometimes come sit on my lap to watch TV.
  • Luke also gives the some of the best hugs!
  • He can now run.  He's had to learn this fast to keep up with his brother.  He can also walk backwards.  When he tries to jump, he just comes up to his tip toes and back down.
  • He is very agile.  I'm not used to this because Hudson was extrememly clumsy (like his Mommy) at this age.  He is often being a little daredevil.
  • Luke likes to ride around the house on his little train or firetruck.  He can scoot himself forwards and backwards on them.
  • He likes to color.
  • He's still a good eater and loves fruit and veggies.
  • Luke is becoming more attentive to TV shows.  His favorite shows continue to be Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Blues Clues, and Sesame Street.  He's also starting to enjoy Yo Gabba Gabba.  Although he doesn't watch it much, he gets excited when he hears the Diego song.
  • You can definitely tell he's a second child.  He doesn't let his brother push him around, and he will stick up for himself when needed.
P.S. Yes, he's in desparate need of a haircut!  The boys have an appointment tomorrow.
